Commission timelines
Every item we sell is handmade and hand painted, with a focus on accuracy and details. This is not a fast process. Additionally, we will check-in multiple times throughout the process to ensure you are satisfied. As a policy, we will not move onto the next stage of production until you have confirmed that you are satisfied with the current work. If you are not available for this, production may be delayed or cancelled. Ceramics is a time sensitive medium and if a project is left unfinished for too long the ability to continue the process may be eliminated.

The level of difficulty posed by your commissioned work is ultimately what determines the production time line. Please discuss directly with the artist what your personal dead lines are before commissioning any project. Additionally, projects are completed on a first come, first serve basis. The projected time to create your item may be 2 weeks, but if you are waitlisted there may be a window of time before production will begin, extending the time before your item is ready to ship.

Limitations
Custom sculptures are developed from photographs provided by the client. Before commissioning any item, please review the photos you have access to. Low quality photos can limit accuracy and extend work time, resulting in increased cost. Photos should be high quality, focused images of your pet from multiple angles and include images of your pet: from the left, right, front, behind, a profile shot of your animals face, a front facing shot of their face, and at least one shot with the entire pet in frame- including the full length of the tail (if applicable). Additionally, please look at the color of your pet and compare it to the colors shown in your photos. Poor lighting or unnatural light can change the appearance of your pets coloring in a photo. Be certain that your photos reflect an accurate image of your pets coloring and patterns. Refunds are not available for mis-coloring due to poor photo quality.
The photographs you provide and the limitations of the ceramic media will determine the positioning of the final sculpture. While you may want to capture that super-cute thing your pet does, if you don't have a photograph, we will be unable to fulfill that request. For structural and functional reasons, some positions, even if a photo resource exist, cannot be completed.

Payment
Before production on any project begins you will be provided with a written quote, 20% of that quote is required prior to any work being done. This amount is nonrefundable once production has begun. Our artist loses time and materials on cancelled orders and absorbing those losses limit our viability as a business. Once your commission is completed and you've approved it, the balance will be billed. Please understand that quotes are not inclusive of shipping or packaging costs. Additionally, quotes are projected based on the materials and time required for the commission as originally developed. If you request changes, you are not available for timely check-ins, or revision requests become excessive, the balance due may increase. Finished items will not be shipped until the payment for the balance has cleared. Credit card payments or electronic transfers may have additional processing time over PayPal or Venmo.
Shipping
All pots will be shipped within a week of cleared payment by USPS or UPS. The client accepts responsibility for shipping and packaging costs. Packages come insured so if an item is received damaged, please contact me immediately so that a claim can be filed. If you need rush shipping, at an additional cost, please email me prior to purchase to confirm that it is available.

Refunds
All sales are final unless item purchased is not as described. We provide many check-in's throughout the process and your approval is required at each stage before we move on. You will receive images of the final project and we will not charge the balance until you have approved. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your item, please message me and we can work to a solution.

Due to the fragile nature of ceramic ware, we cannot offer refunds or replacements for items that break due to mishandling or accident. With proper care and handling ceramic items can last a lifetime. However, if your pot arrives broken, please contact us immediately. Each shipment is insured and we can file a claim. To collect a refund due to shipping issues photos of the broken item, the box and packaging materials.
